Krzysztof R. Nowakowski, PhD

Lecturer, cooperation with the Department for Business and International Relations AFiB Vistula. Graduated from The Warsaw University, Department of Philosophy and Sociology (1995). In 1996 he was granted a scholarship at the International Research and Exchanges Board, an American organization assisting with democratic reforms in the Central European countries. Training and didactic experience acquired at Cornell University (School of Industrial and Labor Relations, USA), Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium – 1997) and Rutgers University (Human Resource Department, USA – 1999) contributed to preparing a dissertation on managing human resources and and obtaining a doctoral degree (Warsaw University, 2002). Dr Nowakowski authored three books, co-authored 8 collective publications and 15 articles in many periodicals. He participated in research work implemented together with local and international organizations, for instance European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions, Centre for Monitoring Press Freedom at the Polish Journalists Association. At present he collaborates with the AFiB, as well as with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS University in Warsaw). His scientific interest covers international relations, economic sociology and economic policy, global marketing, cultural diversity of organizations with Asian capital involvement, first of all Korean, Japanese and Chinese.
